Based on true events – FORTRESS depicts the lavish lives of founders and CEO Jawad Rathore and COO Vince Petrozza, raising billions of dollars from everyday civilians to fund one of the largest real estate schemes in Canadian history.

Everything seemed too good to be true. Over two billion dollars raised in a few short years, almost 100 developments spread across countries, thousands of employees and a handmade ecosystem of hungry brokers scouring the country for more money. Quickly a high life turned into one of largest corporate collapses ever seen in real estate. From class action lawsuits to raids and arrests, when it was all said and done Fortress went down as the largest real estate fraud in the countries history causing the Canadian government to rewrite centuries old laws.

Underdog. Hero. Criminal. You decide.
But the real question is, where did the money go?
